Product Description Phytodefrisant is a relaxing balm for all hair types, naturally curly or permed hair. Ferula, horseradish, and garlic extracts coat and straighten hair without any chemical action. The non-oily formula won't weaken hair. Imparts shine as hair blow-dried to smooth, straight perfection.

Waste of money! August 13, 2008 Like many others, I look to Amazon's reviewers before buying an expensive product to make sure I'm going to get my money's worth. After seeing so many satisfied customers, I figured buying this would be a sure bet! Boy was I wrong! I have thick, pretty healthy, semi-wavy hair that's to the middle of my back. So, not the easiest of hair, but certainly not a challenge for this product. I couldn't have been more wrong. This is glorified hair gel. It's just more runny. I used the product as specified. And was left with flat, not-shiny, not-silky, almost crunchy hair! About the same results I'd get with $0.99 cent gel from a dollar store! I ended up just throwing my hair into a ponytail for the rest of the day. I'm so angry I wasted my money on such a worthless product! DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!
Back to my search for the perfect grooming cream/shine serum.
This product really works. June 1, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have tried many products from kerastase, biolage, fekkai, etc..... They are all expensive product that are good. I am Asian and have very coarse, permed and color treated (extremely dry) hair. I have to use both the Kerastase OLEO-Relax anti-frizz with Fekkai glossing cream together inorder to get ok to good results. Kerastase alone cost around $40. I read review about Phyto products and took the chance to try it. To my surprise it works really well. I use it with the Fekkai and my hair looks wonderful. I will never go back to Kerastase and this is cheaper too. I use it after I wash my hair and comb through. I assume for most they don't have to use another product but I use Fekkai after to give it extra shine. I love this product. Out of all the products I tried, this is the only one that wow me.
Don't waste your money May 31, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
After reading all the reviews, I bought this product with such high hopes to help tame my coarse, curly hair . I wish I hadn't wasted my money.
Tames!! May 21, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This product works for sure!! I am an African-American female with very course, thick, thick, thick hair. I relaxed my hair with the Phytorelaxer which made it straight but not bone straight. That was fine because it does not strip your hair and damage it. I ordered this relaxing balm a couple days later and I used it after I washed my hair. I blew it dry and used a ceramic flat iron and the difference was night and day. My hair was not fluffy and big. It was much softer, no frizz and still had body. Get this IT WORKS!!!
Amazing! April 26, 2008 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I have read many reviews and I wanted to make sure my review was precise and informative. I am an African American who decided to go natural 5 months ago. I cut my hair into a bob, blow dried and flat ironed it and noticed my hair looked a HOT mess. I went to Sephora searching for a relaxer from the Phyto line. Once I explained what I needed to the young lady she suggested this product. 1, This should be used and wet hair for best results. 2, You must apply from root to ends. And 3, a little goes a long way. I immediately went home and applied it to my dry, over heated, 75% chemical free hair. ( I know I should have waited until I washed it, but I was anxious.) This product was amazing! I blowed dried and I flat ironed my hair and you could not even see that I had 4 inches of natural roots on my sleek bob. I cant wait to try it on my hair wet. I also live in NC, which the sun and humidity can be a killer. I played with my son for an hour yesterday, and my hair still held up great. ALSO, you should not use this product daily on really course or frizzy hair. Once every wash. And if you are still having frizz, then maybe you are washing your hair too much! Great product.
