A BLISSFUL DISCOVERY November 21, 2008 After many years of being an Ivory soap girl, I discovered Rogers & Gallette when I purchased a box for a gift. The recipient told me it was the finest, smoothest, longest lasting, most fragrant soap she had ever used. From then on, I became a Rogers and Gallette girl. Rogers & Gallette can pamper a woman better than any soap I've tried. It makes a lovely gift for others and a soothing treat for yourself.
French Milled Soap: Only Way to Go August 10, 2008 I was taught to purchase French milled soap because it is hard or triple milled and lasts much longer than other soaps. Of all the lovely, and expensive, soaps I've used over the past half-century, I keep coming back to Roger & Gallet's. Not only are they long lasting, but also, they hold their full scent down to the last little sliver. My favorites are Fougere (fern) and Bois de Sandal (Sandalwood), wonderful, "earthy" scents, but the florals are nice, too.
The best mass manufactured French soap July 26, 2008 Roget & Gallet soap is wonderful. The scents are not very strong. You don't walk out of the shower smelling like perfume, but the soaps leave your skin very soft and pliable. They seem to last longer than American soaps. They make a great gift. I have not used harsh American soaps in years.
