Product Description
Get a good grip on exfoliating power with the handled, all-natural Japanese bath brush. Used in the spas of Southern Japan, this brush is for serious sloughing away of dry skin. Use when wet in the shower or bath to vigorously massage and exfoliate feet, elbows or knees. Measures approximately 9.5" long. Rinse thoroughly after use, shake out excess water and hang to dry.

nice product. i'd recommend googling suggestions on how to use it properly so that you don't damage your skin accidentally. i wish i remembered to use this more often!

5 out of 5 stars The best brush for dry brushing - exfoliation and circulation   March 1, 2007

This is the type of brush I recommend in my article on my Epicurean Table site epicureantable dot com/articles/adrybrush dot htm . I don't recommend it for wet use as dry brushing is far more efficient for circulation to the skin and exfoliating without scratching or harming the skin. In this way you also remove toxins (one of the jobs of the skin is to transfer certain types of toxins out of the body by way of the skin cells). When you dry brush you do not need soap/gel - your skin can't get any cleaner (obviously for 'other areas' use your usual - hopefully natural - product). After dry brushing, have your shower or bath.

Use it a few times and you will notice your naturally silky skin. Apply aloe vera gel with a few drops of favourite oil such as almond or jojoba and mix by rubbing hands together. Fantastically silky skin - nourished and cared for in a healthy, natural way without all those chemicals.

5 out of 5 stars Best body brush   February 1, 2005
I have had my brush for 4 years, and i am just now replacing it. With proper care (follow directions) it will last you just as long. the bristels never wear out, but the handle does com undone. Best results if you use brush while your body is dry. circular motion over all those ruff, spotted, dimples neglected areas. after shower and body oil skin is soft, exfoliated and smooth. also works well wet. hang dry in sunlight (uv kills any yuck and odor). after a few uses smooth unmarred body skin is ready for armless, backless, short anything view. Happy Exfoliating.

5 out of 5 stars Scrub a-Dub-Dub   September 4, 2004
This traditional brush fits the hand well, as it is wrapped in rope, and doesn't slip when soapy. The bristles are firm, but soften when wet and soaped up. It is stimulating, yet relaxing, and does a fine job at cleaning. A must for my shower.
