Product Description
For splinters, clean the affected area with soap and water, dip the Tweezers in alcohol to sterilize, use needle points of tweezer to grab the splinter and back it out gently. After particle is removed, disinfect area with hydrogen peroxide. If dirt is involved, consult doctor regarding tetanus. To remove ingrown hairs, wash area with soap and water, dip tweezer in alcohol to disinfect, and use tip of tweezer to isolate the ingrown hair. Tweeze hair out gently in the direction of hair growth.

4 out of 5 stars Does a great job when it doesn't "break" the hair   November 11, 2009
Sharilynn C. Steele (overseas)
This tweezer has the finest point of any tweezer I've ever used... It really does a good job when it's time to get really thorough in your grooming and need to pick at really fine hairs... However there are a few issues that keep me from loving it...

1 - the point of this tweezers are fine and slender... in fact at times they are TOO fine... sometimes I end up cutting/breaking a hair instead of pulling it out which defeats its purpose and its frustrating...

2 - These are REALLY sharp; the little plastic cap this comes with is not good enough to protect you if somehow you push it on too hard...

And 3 - the tips are very easily bent, if you drop it and it happens to hit something it's pretty much unusable after that... I'm not sure if you can send them back to Tweezerman to be fixed?

All in all these are a good buy but I would definitely advise buying more than one at a time so you always have a back-up...

Happy plucking

2 out of 5 stars Too much tweezer for me   October 7, 2009
Carlisle (Indianapolis, IN USA)
I was very excited about this product, and Tweezerman products came highly recommended to me. However, I was only able to use this product for a short time. My first problem was that after every in-grown hair was removed, there was a tell-tale scab left behind. I'm not sure which was worse, the hair bump, or the scab. Secondly, I dropped the tweezers, and after that the precision tips did not meet perfectly, so I had to jimmy the ends a bit every time I used it. I finally had to stop using it altogether after I misused the tweezers to retrieve something at the bottom of a narrow bottle and the tips bent.

In the end, I think this is probably a great tool for an "emergency" in-grown hair or in the hands of a professional. However, it is not suitable as a primary pair of tweezers or for people who are, like me, a little clumbsy or ham handed (you know who you are ;)).

4 out of 5 stars Great idea, but doesn't always work!   August 17, 2009

This is a great concept and works most of the times! But other times, it breaks the hair and even causes bleeding if you have sensative skin! Would not recommend it for sensative skin...

1 out of 5 stars Not very impressed   April 2, 2009

These tweezers seem to have a hard to holding onto ingrown hairs on my neck. As a result they sometimes will clip part of the hair, making it shorter and harder to pull out.

5 out of 5 stars LOVE IT   March 11, 2009

I absolutely LOVE this product. I have been looking for the perfect tweezers for many years, and now I have found it. I am going to be getting more of this product...maybe even the whole collection. The tips are so precise...just last night I got a sliver out of my daughters hand. It was so easy! I also use this to extract pimples/blackheads with ease. Also, the price is amazing. Other tweezers cost more and don't even work as well...And they bend easily. Not this product...no bending. Plus, it's guaranteed.
