With both stroller and car seat, you'll be ready for all types of trips. View larger. | Safe, Convenient, Versatile Travel System for Families on the Go The travel system allows you to shop at the mall, go for walks at the park, and enjoy day trips with ease: the car seat snaps easily in and out of the car base and is designed to fit perfectly into the stroller--you'll find this especially convenient if your baby has been lulled to sleep by the car and you don't want to disturb his nap! Simply snap car seat out of the stay-in-car base and into the stroller and go, sleeping baby undisturbed. You can also carry the car seat by its handle to easily and safely transport your infant. Purchase additional car seat bases for your second family car or for the grandparents' car as a cost-effective, convenient, and versatile travel option. Versatile Car Seat Doubles as Carrier The SafeSeat Infant Car Seat is a standard, rear-facing car seat is designed for infants between 5 and 30 pounds and less than 32 inches tall, which allows use for most babies from birth through the age of one. The cushiony car seat is built with a five-point front-adjusting harness and EPS energy-absorbing foam for comfort and superior safety, and it includes removable infant head support for additional safety and security. The seat quickly and easily snaps in and out of the stay-in-car base. A sturdy handle allows the seat to double as an infant carrier, making it convenient and safer to transport fragile newborns and sleeping older infants. It includes a 180-degree rotating canopy to shade your baby from multiple directions. The car seat can be secured in newer-model vehicles with the LATCH system. This car seat meets or exceeds U.S. standards including U.S. Compliance Standard FMVSS 213; Side Impact ISO Method; New Car Assessment Program (NCAP); and Extreme Car Interior Temperatures. A Sturdy and Versatile Stroller Lightweight yet sturdy, the Quattro Tour Stroller offers roomy yet easy-to-use travel convenience that's perfect for short jaunts around the block to longer excursions to the zoo. Snap your baby's car seat into the stroller for easy, parent-facing transportation until your little one can sit up by herself; use the stroller without the car seat--with your child facing forward--from the time she can sit up (around 6 months of age) until she is up to 50 pounds in weight--so even when your child outgrows the infant car seat, you'll still be using the stroller for years to come. The stroller is constructed with a durable welded aluminum frame, and it features a combination three- or five-point harness, an adjustable sun visor with a peek-a-boo window, and a four-position reclining seat that can lay completely flat for easy napping. Removable infant head supports provide your baby with an extra-comfy ride. A handy storage basket at the bottom is accessible even when the child's seat is fully reclined. The parent's organizing tray offers two cup holders and additional storage space, and a rotating child's tray in front can keep a cup, juice-box, or snack in convenient reach while on the go. The one-touch brakes and the locks and suspension on the front swivel wheels help make the stroller easy to maneuver and control. When not in use, the stroller's special one-hand gravity-fold design makes it simple to collapse for easy storage and transport. | Also available in | | Kasbah | | Imperial | About Graco In 1942, Russell Gray and Robert Cone formed Graco Metal Products, in Philadelphia, PA. For 11 years, the firm fabricated machine and car parts for local manufacturers. In 1953, Gray left the firm, leaving Cone as sole owner. Cone decided to manufacture his own line of products, but had trouble coming up with ideas. Enter David Saint, an engineer, tinkerer, and stained glass artisan who worked for Graco. Saint, himself a father of nine, was intrigued when an associate told him how his wife would soothe their tired and cranky baby while swinging in a backyard glider swing. Acting on this inspiration, he went to the drawing board and 18 months of hard work later, the world's first wind-up infant swing, the Graco Swyngomatic, was born. Graco sold millions of Swyngomatics in the coming years, becoming one of the world's leading manufacturers of juvenile products in the process. Today, Graco is a Newell Rubbermaid company, with 1500 associates worldwide. While a half-century has brought many changes to Graco, their dedication and commitment to designing and manufacturing top-quality products remains, and continues on. What's in the Box Quattro Tour Stroller, SafeSeat Infant Car Seat, and stay-in-car base.

Nice for big babies, a little large. January 4, 2009 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
For our first baby, I did a LOT of research online and decided this was the ticket mainly for three reasons: 1) the price is right 2) the weight and height limits are higher than many other models 3) the print is really nice, not too babyish, and gender neutral.
The seat has excellent safety ratings, is easy to clean and hides stains well, and seems very comfortable to our daughter. It is a little on the big side- doesn't fit in some carts or high chairs, but that seems really unsafe to me anyhow. We opt to get a booth and put her in with us or take the stroller instead. I do use the carrier to get her to and from our car, and manage just fine even with my bag for work or other stuff to shlep (she's about 14 pounds at this point.)
The stroller is solid, looks nice, and steers well. I've read some of the other reviews that claim the seat didn't snap in securely, and I haven't had a problem. There are two clips that open to secure the front of the seat down for safety, and even with these engaged, I only use the handle on the stroller to maneuver the thing (as opposed to grabbing the handle of the carrier) for fear of "tipping" the seat off the base. I'd do this with any travel system, as it has a higher center of gravity. The wheels do knock against door frames and catch on the bottom of racks sometimes when we're shopping, but I really appreciate the size of this stroller- there is plenty of room to put our stuff. I really feel it locks together just fine, and is easy to handle.
We haven't had any trouble fitting either the seat or stroller in our midsized cars- we have a Jetta and a Focus hatchback. The bases are installed in the middle, as they recommend now. The seat also fit in my Mother-in-law's Jaguar, which is tiny inside. It was a tighter fit. Our baby is consistently in the 97th percentile for length, so I'm very glad we went with the safeseat. Also, the latches and buckles are a breeze to use.
I am really happy with this system!
Great product. and good price... December 16, 2008 The stroller is great. It has great wheels with very easy and flexible. It is also very easy to close and open. The Infant seat is also great and can be easily setup in the car. The delivery was great too...
Great car seat, stroller too big, would do it differently next time December 14, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased the quattro tour travel system a few months ago, and realized the stroller is a lot bigger than I expected, it takes up almost the entire trunk of my car. The SnugRide car seat is great, but I realized that the Graco SafeSeat can handle a higher infant weight (30lb instead of the 22lbs the SnugRide handles). If I had to do it over again, I would purchase the SafeSeat Car seat with the Graco Car Seat Stroller Frame which is much more lightweight than the regular stroller
awesome travel system November 27, 2008 this is a great travel system. SO easy to undo everything. when it's ready to go in the back of the van all i have to do is push a button and turn and it breaks down and just latch it closed. all done within 2 seconds. it's a bit heavy but nothing a new mom can handle. My 10 year old step son can lift and carry the baby in the infant carrier. It's easy to change the belts as the child grows too. all in all it's a great system that is perfect for boys or girls. its a tan and beige color pattern. sounds ugly but is really pretty.
Great... but beware if you drive a small car! November 26, 2008 This travel system has the safeseat car seat rather than the snugride carseat.
If you drive a small car, I recommend going to a store and using the display model to test fit.
I drive a 2009 Toyota Corolla. Fits fine in the middle, but would not fit at all behind either front seat if the front seat is all the way back (which is where my husband needs it in this car).
