Great Product November 13, 2008 Great product just need to lock the wheel when you run/jog. They really should make the sunshade larger. (Just bought an attachment for the shade and it is great).
Wonderful Stroller! October 3, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Absolutely awesome stroller. My husband and I run with this stroller practically everyday and our 7 month old son loves it. I was a little worried about the buckle being uncomfortable but my son doesn't seem to mind and will sit in it for over an hour. He seems to enjoy the running a lot more than walking!
The stroller was shipped promptly and was fairly easy to put together. The handle had a few little tears which was disappointing but we've had it for over a month and the tears have not gotten any bigger. I really like the yellow lining because it is a bit reflective and the swivel wheel is amazing. I am so glad that I did not buy a cheaper stroller WITHOUT the swivel wheel because it makes manueuvering that much easier. I would buy this stroller again!
Good Stroller for the Price September 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got this stroller after looking for a single jogger/all-terrain stroller for a while. I had a double InStep for years but only needed a single one now.
It was very easy to put together. I know there were some reviews that had issues with the front tire but, it works just like any standard quick release tire that would be on a decent bicycle.
I got the chocolate/blue color one and I will say the color looked nicer online. Also the handle did come a little scratched up but it is not worth returning it for something so minor when it will probably end up getting like that anyways.
My old stroller was a fixed wheel so the swivel was a little strange at first. I think it is best to lock the wheel as fixed if you are going to be walking long distances at a quick pace like on a trail. However, if you are indoors or need to do a lot of turning, set it to swivel. So far it seems fine. My toddler seems to enjoy it.
I do wish they had a hand break and a deeper drink holder in the parent console.
Does what I need it to do. September 21, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was looking for a stroller that I could jog behind. I almost bought the Jeep stroller because of the built-in MP3 speakers. But at the end of one of the reviews, a person talked about the locked front wheel that couldn't swivel on the Jeep. Didn't understand the locked wheel concept until after I got the Safari Swivel, which can lock for jogging and swivel for regular use. Locking the wheel while jogging does make the stroller more stable. As you jog, you can have a tendency to move side to side. If the motion is pronounced enough, a swivel front will start to move left or right. The effect is the stroller can actually start turning left or right on you while jogging. Locking the front wheel keeps the stroller going straight as an arrow. The problem with a permanently locked wheel is you can't really use it for anything else (back up stroller) unless you get into the habit of lifting the front wheels up to turn.
The Safri Swivel can turn on a dime when the front wheel is unlocked. However, THIS STROLLER IS BULKY. I wouldn't use it for my primary stroller. I have a truck, so I just throw it in the back. I think it will fit in my wife's car, but we haven't tried because the regular stroller is in her car.
I leave it in the garage to jog behind, and throw it in the back of the truck if my wife is gone and need a stroller. It works well that way. Wouldn't use it any other way. Hope this helps.
Great stroller for the money August 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was a great stroller for the money. It is very light weight and very mobile with a fixed or moving front wheel. Our daughter loves it and seems very comfortable in it. It folds up for transport.
