About Graco In 1942, Russell Gray and Robert Cone formed Graco Metal Products, in Philadelphia, PA. For 11 years, the firm fabricated machine and car parts for local manufacturers. In 1953, Gray left the firm, leaving Cone as sole owner. Cone decided to manufacture his own line of products, but had trouble coming up with ideas. Enter David Saint, an engineer, tinkerer, and stained glass artisan who worked for Graco. Saint, himself a father of nine, was intrigued when an associate told him how his wife would soothe their tired and cranky baby while swinging in a backyard glider swing. Acting on this inspiration, he went to the drawing board and 18 months of hard work later, the world's first wind-up infant swing, the Graco Swyngomatic, was born. Graco sold millions of Swyngomatics in the coming years, becoming one of the world's leading manufacturers of juvenile products in the process. Today, Graco is a Newell Rubbermaid company, with 1500 associates worldwide. While a half-century has brought many changes to Graco, their dedication and commitment to designing and manufacturing top-quality products remains, and continues on. What's in the Box Graco Nautilus 3-in 1 Toddler Car Seat (Matrix).

great for the money October 15, 2008 My 2 1/12 year old really likes this car seat. It was easy to assemble and install. The only thing that is annoying is that the extra cushion tends to slip down when I put him in the seat. I then have to try to readjust it in order to buckle him.
A perfect addition for the new baby! October 14, 2008 A couple of my family members bought these 3-in 1 car seats for thier infants and they love them.Keeps the infant locked in,but still with great comfort.Easy to clean with spills, this product gets an A++++!!!!! They say it's the best car seat available for the price!
Easy to use and compact October 14, 2008 This is our second toddler car seat, the first one was a Graco Safeseat that we bought so that it would recline while being strapped in. We took it back because it wore down after 1-2 months making it harder to use and internal straps got all screwed up.
This seat is compact, the straps are smooth. If fits nice in our more compact car and it looks comfortable. Good cup holder and side pockets for toys and such. The seat looks like it will adjust to other sizes very well and much thought was put into the child growing with it. Instead of it being just an afterthought and sales gimic that I see in a lot of other cars seats that claim to be 3-in-1.
My only complaint is that it doesn't recline well, which hasn't stopped my 14 mo daughter from sleeping. But her head does fall forward which seems to be a common complaint with just about all car seats so I think this may be hard to avoid.
Great Choice! October 10, 2008 I bought this to be used in my son's SUV for my three-year old grandson. It's a bit of a challenge to install and quite large, but overall, it is comfortable and has all the safety features I was looking for.
Keeps Kids Safer for Longer!! October 9, 2008 I selected this seat based on a recommendation from our child safety seat expert from where I work (The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration). I chose this seat because my 4-year-old was quickly approaching the height and weight limits of his convertible seat (40lbs. and 40inches). I could have moved him to a booster, but the longer I can keep him in a harness, the safer he will be. And this seat's harness is rated to 65lbs.
Anyway, it was easy to assemble and easy to install with the LATCH. I recommend you have your car seat installation checked by a Certified Passenger Safety Technician. To find one, visit http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/cps/cpsfitting/index.cfm
