Our physical therapist recommended the boppy noggin nest head rest for our triplets to help prevent a flat head spot. We use it in their car seats, their bouncy seats, their swings, and when they are lying flat on the floor. That has been our primary change and we see a huge difference already. We were warned to not use it except during supervised nap time, and that is when we use it for napping positioning.
The head rest is very well made, with great padding. We LOVE it!!! The fabric is comfy and does not rub or scratch. The babies seem very comfortable in it. We love how easy it is to remove from the car seat where it is strapped in to other areas in the house. The velcro tabs make moving it much easier than some other head rests.

I really, really wish I got this sooner! I put it off for a few months...I got this for my baby boy when he was 7 months. He has a bigger head than the average baby and was a preemie, and had a VERY flat head :( --they say flat-head syndrome is more common with preemies... I was terrified at the prospect of him having to wear one of those helmets, so I decided to definitely get on the ball and order one of these. I'm so glad I did! Even though it says that it's recommended for babies from birth to 6 months, I obviously still used it anyway on my 7 month old. He's 9 months now and I can see to my satisfaction that there is some improvement. I'm glad there's any improvement at all, for introducing the product to him so late. Of course I'm positive that it would've been way better if we used this earlier. I do use this for when he sleeps even though they tell you not to. Hey, it helped my baby's head. Like a lot of others, I will definitely be buying these for future mommies.

At our four month appointment we noticed that our daughter was beginning to get a flat spot on the back of her head from sleeping and playing so much on her back (she hated being on her belly!) This producted was recommended as something to try before going the helmet route and it is the best thing I have bought, so much so that I bought 2! One that we keep in her car seat and one that we use in her bouncer, bassinet, floor gym, swing etc (they are really portable) and a month later, her flat spot is 95% gone, it is an amazing product! I will be buying one for every baby shower I go to from here on out.

Don't hesitate, buy this now. Our son was developin a flat spot on the right side of his head and the head was almost becoming lopsided! The doctor noticed it at his 2 month check up and just said to switch the side of his crib and try to prop his head. Well I wanted to be proactive so I bought one of these. AFter a week, I bought TWO more, that's how great they are! We used them at night while he sleeps and also in the car seat and his swing. After just 6 weeks, the flat spot is 100% gone!!! His head is perfectly round and perfect. We had made an appointment in December for a specialist who deals with helmets and whatnot and I'm going to cancel it because it's totally fixed by this pillow. Can't recommend it enough!!

When my son was about 3 months old, his head started to get alittle flat spot in the back. With this new back to sleep campaign, I was always paranoid about making sure I always had him laying on his back (swings, bassinet, stroller, etc..). I bought this product after reading other reviews and I love it. I use it when I'm feeding him in his chair, when he's laying on his back, in the swing and in the stroller. It's very comfortable and I would use it even if your child doesn't have a flat spot. One would think this product should automatically come with your purchase as it seems only sensible - it provided the proper head support needed, prevents and helps with the flat head syndrome and is overall just a comfortable product. You wouldn't go to sleep at night without a pillow, would you? This is the same concept - why have your baby always laying on a hard, flat surface. I loved it so much, I ended up buying 2 additional ones. One to keep with his daycare provider, one to keep in the house and one to always have in his carseat. I would highly recommend! I only wished I had known about this when he was a newborn, as I would have purchased it earlier.
