This shoe lasted a lot longer than other designer shoes for toddlers. It's extremely well-made and comfortable, and it survived the "playground test" very well. Most of my daughter's shoes look scuffed and terrible after one trip to the playground, but these survived even a walk in the woods, a dunk in the lake, and every other trial she could think of for them. I'll definitely buy them in the next size up!
