I expected low quality-- but I didn't expect this July 21, 2007 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
Now, as anyone will tell you, a spotting scope for 40 dollars will undoubtedly be a piece of crap. And I bought the scope for leisure-- bird watching, etc, so I didn't need a five hundred dollar scope. I was prepared for a bit of fuzziness, some shaking of the tripod, etc, but I was not expecting the item to break on the first use. Figuring it to be a fluke, I called the company, and they made me pay for shipping to replace THEIR broken item. And they sent me a new one-- this is a convinent feature, im sure, PRE BROKEN AT THE FACTORY! Do not buy this scope unless you are looking for a terrible item and terrible service with a major headache included. So either shell out a few more bucks for a good spotting scope, or stick with binoculars. -he who has no name
