Nice summer bag! June 19, 2008
Just got my bag via UPS today and I really like it! I got the gold one; it's more of a creamy/pearlescent color versus a flashy metallic so it would be appropriate for day or evening. The dark colored trim and the topstitching create a nice contrast to the metallic leather. This bag has an inside zipper pocket plus 2 inside pouch-style pockets that are the right size for an iPod or Blackberry. My only complaint is the exterior zippered pocket - the vertical zipper with the oversized fob is a lovely aesthetic detail but is not very functional - might be a good place to stash sunglasses? The handle drop is just the right length to sling over your shoulder with one hand - a must-have detail for shoulder bags IMHO. Overall this is a very nice piece to add to my purse collection!

This bag is still nice, however it has been retired to the "occasional use" pile in my closet. Shortly after I began carrying it, the edges around the straps began peeling - it reminded me of cheaper bags that I have purchased at discount retailers. I also find that it's not as roomy as I had hoped. Still a nice bag though - I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a metallic leather bag that is not overly trendy or sparkled with glitter.
