Comfy but smelly September 29, 2008
These shoes fit nicely and are very stylish and comfortable. However, they have a sharp, distinctive odor, probably from the leather or how it was treated, I'm not sure. It's not necessarily unpleasant or offensive, just weird, not like normal leather. I could smell the shoes when I was sitting with them on, so it isn't a short range odor. Maybe I was just more sensitive to the odor because I was looking out for it. I'm not sure the people I was with noticed. The odor doesn't seem to go away with time. I had to keep these in bags in their own drawer or else my other clothes started to smell like them. If I could get the weird odor to go away they would be awesome, but I can't think of anything that would help.
