Darn near perfection!!! November 1, 2008 Ohay, maybe I'm being a bit tough by giving this Timberland clog 'just' a 4 and 1/2 stars rating. But, by my personel way of rating, that is pretty darn good. Materials are superb, rich thick oiled brown leather makes up the bulk of the clog with very nice detailing and stitching. The clog runs just a bit wide and a slight bit long, but not by much. Many men think their sneaker size is their shoe size, which is sadly a misconception. Sneakers generally run at least a full size smaller than your true shoe size. I wear a 9 and 1/2 Nike, in some casual shoes I wear a nine (Sketchers, Dr. Martens and some lesser priced shoes). In Clarks, Sperry and most good shoes I wear an 8 and 1/2. The Timberland clog actually fits my foot quit well length-wise but could be a wee-bit narrower for my foot (My foot is narrower than it is wide). If you have a narrow foot drop a half size, if you have a wider foot enjoy your actual size. Take this from a guy who was the proprieter of a shoe shop for more than 30 years. Back to the Mount Burbank Clog....quality wise? Superb! It's not flashy, but if you are looking for flashy you are in the wrong place to begin with.
great shoes! August 4, 2008 Just the high quality and comfort I expected from Timberland. The soles are excellent and provide nice cushioning. Overall a great shoe.
excellent July 19, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
These shoes have excellent quality materials and craftmanship. The leather is thick and lined inside. I've been wearing the same pair of clogs for years (worn out tread and footbed) because I couldn't find a comparable pair. I've found them now. One piece of advice though, different companies seem to have different sizes. Order these clogs with the smallest size you usually wear. I'm sometimes a 10 and a half and sometimes an 11. The clogs are roomy on purpose but buy the smaller size.
Great Shoe - Good Wear - Scuff Easy July 2, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I debated whether to purchase this "clog" for a long time - I wish I would have purchased sooner! These are great in the winter time, spring and fall, easy to take off or on. The tread seems to be wearing well, only thing i would say may be a problem is that they tend to scuff a little (Tan Oiled) however this can be fixed with a little rubbing...
Good choice

This shoe seems to run large. I always wear an 11.5 or 11 but have had to return this shoe twice going with a smaller size each time. The free return policy is great and convenient.
