 2000x is Discontinued, no warranty, may not work August 22, 2008
This product is obviously the best in it's class. However, I'm 8 hours into having the product delivered; it is now dead. That's 2 hours of charge time, 5 hours of gazing into how cool it looks, 40 minutes of riding, 20 minutes of using my legs to get me home. On top of the tears, the Rothmotor website has informed me that this product is discontinued and therefore the warranty does NOT exist. How about that! Buy something, receive it, then find out that it doesn't have a warranty. Ah, another addition to my collection of bleeding-edge technology that dies too young. 2000x meet my first iPod.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM darmah76!!!
She sold me a defective product and promised to give a partial refund then would not return e-mails or phone calls. This lady is a fraud and an on-line thief. Don't believe her positive feedback reports, see probably inputs them herself. People like her ruined it for the honest sellers, she makes me never want to buy another product from a private party on-line again. She should be put in jail for her crime. Before I bought the product from darmah76, I asked her specifically about the defective component. She promised me that it was brand new and worked great. When I received it, that component was defective and the replacement part cost $[...]. After many phone calls, she said she would give a refund of $[...] if I tore the whole system apart and took photos of the defective component. I did this and sent her the photos. Now I never received the refund and she will not return any of my phone calls or e-mails.

My charger plug broke and I email them at least 5 times but never received a responsive reply. All I get are an auto replies saying they will get back to me but never did. Now my go motorboard is doom for good since I can no longer charge it. I have never seen such a poorly manufactured plug that broke so easily.

I've owned my Go-Motorboard 2000X for about 6 months now and have use it for my commute to public transportation (which is about a mile away from my house). I haven't had any problems with it and have been happy with the performance so far. Charges fairly quickly in about 90 minutes and can go 3 to 5 miles depending on your commute terrain. Its compact designs allows it to easily fold underneath the seat on the bus and is also light enough to carry up stairs with ease. I would give it five stars but it was not designed to be used in the rain.

Item worked for maybe 15 minutes and then totally died. I was left with a piece of junk. Company is unreachable, tried emails and phones. BEWARE!!!
