Amazon.com Product Description Whether you're a secret agent or high-tech trendsetter, no mission is impossible with the stylish, rugged Casio G-Shock MTG910DA digital sports watch, which offers a wealth of performance timing features and cutting edge technology. The jet black stainless steel watch receives a time calibration signal transmitted from Fort Collins, Colorado, and signal reception is possible within a radius of about 2,000 miles from the Fort Collins transmitter. You can choose to automatically receive this signal (once per day at 1 AM) or manually update the G-Shock to the atomic clock. It's also solar-powered--charging in either sunlight or indoor light--so you'll never have to deal with changing the battery. It has a 1/100-second stopwatch with a 24-hour measuring capacity and elapsed time, split time, and 1st/2nd place time modes. It also offers such timekeeping functions as 12/24-hour formats, year/month/date/day display (with an autocalendar to the year 2039), daylight savings time on/off, and world time for 29 time zones and 30 cities. Make it to your next appointment on time with 4 independent daily alarms (with a snooze function) and an optional hourly time signal. This watch offers water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet), suitable for scuba diving. This watch features a durable stainless steel case and strap, scratch-resistant mineral crystal, and AfterGlow LED electro luminescent backlight.

GShock Watch December 23, 2008 This is the first GShock watch I have purchased. I like the look and durablity. The watch is easy to read and use. All of my friends have these watches and swear by them. I would recommend this watch for the price.
Bulletproof II December 7, 2008 The Casio G-Shock MTG-910DA-1V atomic tough solar watch is the black ionized version of the G-Shock MTG-900DA I reviewed under "Bulletproof". It appears with the same rugged good looks, a watch that's going to survive whatever it takes. My understanding is that people have dropped the G-Shock off buildings and strapped them to car wheels to test their durability. It's what is inside that counts. Like a smart computer off of a science fiction movie, the MTG keeps track of time to a precision that lets you forget about setting it all the time. Once you initialize the device, everything is automatic, from the date and time, to the solar power, for years. And the features are numerous as described in the text. My G-Shocks (this is #6) go back to 1987, and I've depended on them to handle the elements and shock. The MTG has an ecologically efficient long-term battery for the solar power. This is one tough baby to put on your wrist, with a comfortable metal band and it's sleek, black luster. I recommend it for anyone who wants the best in chronographic technology. And toughness.
Great watch December 1, 2008 Pros -water proof -atomic timekeeping (works inside here in Colorado) -sharp looking watch
cons -solar power takes a long time to recharge
Even with the downfall of the solar power I love it, and would easily recommended it to a friend
A watch worth four times the price!!! November 18, 2008 I have the MTG 920 DA model and use it for street and aviation police duty...I own (2) Swiss Army, (1) Luminox, (1) Tag, (1) Rolex...Casio makes the best watch for the money hands down. I also purchased one for my son who is on his way to combat in the Middle East with the Marine Corps. The atomic time-keeping is spot-on and the watch is very tough...it can take it! I suggest purchasing from Amazon...they stand behind their sales and you know your purchase and shipping will be handled properly. I simply don't know how Casio sells these G-shocks for so little money...try one, I think you will be most pleased.
Solid November 3, 2008 I bought this watch for my husband after his Oakley D2 watch band broke and they told me the only way to replace it was to send it in for repair. Having recently done that for the annual battery replacement, I decided to go for this G shock. It looks great, fits great and most importantly is entirely maintenance free. My huband even said to me yesterday morning... "I'm not sure how, but the watch reset itself to standard time (from Daylight Savings)." He was pysched to find out he never has to set it either. A great price for a solid watch.
