Quality satin robe July 25, 2008
It looks like the company must have taken out any references to silk that might have been in the listing because I don't see any mentioning of silk as the last reviewer has stated.
Overall this is a top quality satin robe. In my experience its difficult to find a satin or silk garment that is really stitched well (no cinching) and also affordable. We've bought cheaper versions before from other companies and it usually is a mistake. That doesn't seem to be the case with this robe. The stitching was beautiful and clean which makes the cuts virtually seemless.
The satin fabric is high quality, soft silk-like. We're also silk lovers, but 100% silk costs five times what this robe is selling for on Amazon. So we'll take this good quality satin until we hit the lotto. : )

My wife loves this robe. It's very soft and has a very nice color. I was initially dubious because of the low price, but she wears it everyday, and it looks great. I got her a more expensive robe, too, but she wears this one.
