I have several of these t-shirts, i am currently working in Afghanistan, and the conditions are very harsh, especially the laundry service, very harsh detergent, constantly malfunctioning machines, and dryers the temperature of the sun, but these Carhartt tee's take the licking and keep on ticking. If you want a comfortable very durable t-shirt you will not be disappointed in this product!

I like the Ash version because it has a 1% poly blend that makes gives the T-shirt a sturdier look and body (and probably more durability) without giving up the rich cotton feel. The shirts do shrink a little bit after the first time through the wash which ended up making it perfect for my size. From other reviews the shirt apparently lasts a long time and that's another selling point for me as I workout 6 times a week and cycle the shirts through the laundry continuously.

This shirt is well made and comfortable. They do run big! Even after washing in hot water (no discernible shrinkage). I'm 5'8" 175lbs, the large hangs to mid thigh. I will definitely buy more, maybe I'll try a medium.

I bought four of these to wear at the gym and got them for a cheap price. With every Carhartt product I've owned their durability was excellent. They last forever. I like the shirts for this reason and also because of the front pocket which comes in handy. Further, the colors have not faded despite their being washed several times.
