excellent for the price! February 19, 2010 J. Labonte (Massachusetts) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I really like these! I have bought many onesies, many costing $20+ a piece for organic or "fancy" fabrics, and these are as good as those really pricey ones. I think the newborn size is perfect if you have average-sized babies (5-8 lbs), for babies bigger you would probably want to go 0-3. I wish I could find them on Amazon in more colors, because 4 onesies for 10 bucks is a deal, organic or not.
Awesome, a little small January 24, 2010 Morimoto (Greenwich, CT, United States) [update - after a couple weeks I agree with other reviewers that these are kinda small]
My wife and her mom and sisters are always getting our baby cute clothes because getting her dressed is such fun for them, but for Dad, I'm just struggling to figure out whats what and wanted some plain simple onesies to work with.
What I didnt expect is that my wife loves these onesies, especially since she is big on organics.
Great fabric, but small December 29, 2009 C. Mertes 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The fabric is wonderful, much nicer than other onsies. But, they are sized smaller than most other brands.
Organic Onesies -- Will Modern Wonders Ever Cease?! December 6, 2009 Dmitri Ulinov (California, USA) 1 out of 21 found this review helpful
After seeing this advertised in my favorite magazine "Organic Dentristry Weekly," I went and checked my kids' onesies. Wow! Was I surprised to see Polychlorinated Biphenyl and DDT listed as the first two ingredients!!
First off, who knew that onesies even had an ingredient list? Fortunately, they also come with nutritional labels telling you calories, protein, fiber and caffeine content. (My daughter's favorite onesie actually has the kick of three Starbuck's grande two shot mochas with a half shake of nutmeg.)
During the summertime, we will often spray our kids clothes down with at leat 7 ounces of Raid in lieu of mosquito netting. Raid not only keeps those flying bugs away, but it is great for roach control. But now, seeing that they have organic baby clothes, I realize what a horrible mistake I was making.
Then again, it may be that I'm still trying to fit my high schoolers into onesies that may be causing some of the teen angst in our household.
