My Premium Military Field Bag just arrived. I have not used it yet, but so far, I like it. The bag is made of (according to the label) 100% cotton canvas. I like the shape and the size.
The bag looks small, but it (the main section)can hold a NYC daily newspaper (Sunday edition) and a Yellow Pages...with a bit more room to spare. I also like the length of the shoulder strap, the strap is about 26inches from bag top to shoulder when fully extended. Unfortunately, I think the bag will lose it's stiffness over time. I brought the bag because I was a bit tired of the pack mule feeling of the backpack. The bag has 4 pockets/sections (the main compartment contains a small zipper pocket, and there are slim pockets on the front and the back for papers, pamphlets, maps etc...The dimensions are about 10in.(height) x 10 in.(length)x 3 in.(width). The main photo looks a bit deceiving. The bag is actually square in appearance. The main photo seems (to me) to give the bag an elongated appearance.
I'll used the bag for a while, then I'll update this review.

Recently got into geocaching and needed a bag to carry my stuff to take on hikes. The bag is rugged enough to withstand hard outdoor use and the right sized to carry what I needed to take along. The price was nice too.

It is a nice lightwewight, non-expensive, not-too-big bag. It is just what I needed. I guess I really wish I had something a little nicer, but this is-what-it-is, and it works just fine for me.
