Great umbrella - great service November 6, 2009 Will (San Francisco) I am buying another one because I lost the old one -- by old I mean six or seven years. When I had a problem with the old one -- some string broke in the post -- I called them, apologized profusely, and over-nighted a new one. What's not to like?
WindShy rather than WindPro October 28, 2009 GUY MERCKX (New York, NY) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The very first time I used my new ShedRain WindPro Mini umbrella, it was pouring and wind gusts were reported later on the news to have hit 60 mph. Of course that is precisely why I chose the WindPro, but during that day the umbrella flipped inside-out about five or six times, while my companion's run-of-the mill umbrella (without any special wind flaps and having cost only $15)resisted the elements perfectly! Somehow that tells me that the sales claims for my umbrella were exagerated, to say the least. I gave it one star for its convenient mini-size and automated opration, and one for surviving the violent day, but I don't believe it deserves more.
NOT Windproof, not even waterproof. July 1, 2009 James L. OBrien (New Jersey, USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Pros:
Opens and closes easily, compact design.
Cons:
Seams leak, blew inside out on the first good wind gust, build quality not worth money paid.
I wouldn't but this model again.
works well June 26, 2009 Anonymous 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Only had a chance to use it once (as it hasn't rained where I am in a long time), but it worked as advertised in a light rain. Hopefully it will hold up if I'm caught outside in more severe weather.
Shed Rain WindPro mini Umbrella Auto Open & Close, Red June 15, 2009 Marjatta Di Serio (Morristown, NJ) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is my 2nd ShedRain umbrella. The 1st one was a lemon, it did not open, flew out of my hands etc. I bought it for travel and unfortunately I did not use it in time to find out to return it. I took my chances to order this one. It turned out to be fine. However I find it hard to close.
