This jeans are wonderful. Fits right in all the places. Not to tight or to lose. Overall these are very comfortable jeans. I rate 5 stars!

I was nervous to purchase these jeans in the medium length as I have a very long inseam. However, the medium length is perfect to wear with boots. I also have very narrow hips without a waistline to speak of, oh, and I am almost 5'9". So for all of the ladies that are NOT curvy , I think these jeans are great!

The look and fit of the jeans was great when I tried them for the first time, but unfortunately after only a few uses they were not "skinny" anymore... who knows, maybe buying a smaller size would be the solution?
Nice-but the quality of the material is so-so. And these run true to size for most part! January 24, 2010

I bought these jeans- as I was happy with a different version,528, by the same maker. These are ok- the material is not a nice quality as the other design.
And as others have mentioned, I made the mistake of ordering a larger size based on a few other reviews- bad idea. I normally wear a size 7-8 and bought these in 9. While I can wear these- they are looser than I really care to have them. I do hope they shrink up a bit- and if not- for the price I paid, it's worth keeping than shipping back.
So- order your regular size that you wear for this cut. And these are more what I would consider to be skinny jean cut than the 528 version.

I usually have trouble finding Levi's skinny jeans that fit perfectly, because they're usually cut too tight around the waist and not tight enough on the thighs, and that just does not look good. I've only had luck with their 504 slouch skinny jeans that they've discontinued (why? I'll never know). I was browsing Amazon and Ebay for some 504 slouch straight jeans, which I like, but they fit wayyyy looser than the 504 slouch skinny (the slouch straights look great if you're wearing boots underneath BTW), so I started looking at some other Levi's skinny jeans and saw the 524's. I decided to give them a try because they had such good reviews, Levi's size 2S usually fits me, depending on the style of course, sometimes they're way too loose, or the waist is too tight, but anyway, I tried the 1M but it was too tight around the waist so I got a size 3S in the Premium Dark wash and it fit perfectly, it fit even better than the 504 skinny's that I had! So I went back and ordered 2 more of them. I also tried getting a black pair in 3M thinking that I could simply hem the bottom, but it fit way looser than the 3S so I returned them. Depending on the length, these jeans are cut very differently, I don't always notice the difference in the cut between a short and a medium but with these jeans they are SIGNIFICANTLY different, so be careful when you buy them.
