saggy jeans are NOT for me November 18, 2009 Suzette B I bought these, hoping they were different from another pair of Levis I bought recently (different style) which loosen up and slip without a belt holding them up due to the stretching agent (spandex?). Unfortunately, these fit pretty much the same--I wore them for half a day before they began sliding down (they sit higher up than my previous pair which I thought might help as well). I washed them twice in hot water, hoping to shrink them a bit, but it didn't help.
I have to graduate beyond Levis, I can see now. They have (had?) always been the best-fitting jeans for me (especially pre-spandex), and they lasted a long time, but the past few years I haven't been able to find any that are worth the money.
It's a pity I can't return them!
finally found a ladies jean that fits like a glove October 8, 2009 C. Betker (delavan, wisconsin USA) I have bought mens jeans for years.. womens waists were too hight.. the hip to wide, the waist too small ....then I found the womens 505 with stretch... I can wear tight jeans and they are comfy. Do buy several sizes down though. I am normally a 10 and I fit into a 6 with no problem....

Jeans have been bought to my girl. The size 6M. But when they have come that have appeared for 3 sizes more!!! Bought such jeans with a size 6M in shop. They approach ideally. On whom you sew? I do not understand why such divergence in the sizes.
HARD TO FIND JEANS August 24, 2009 V. Kerns (Harrisville, WV) Have always worn Lees or Riders but they are made too big in the legs. Can't find straight leg pants at all. Love the length of these jeans and the straight leg look. I can't figure out why I wear the "short" length as I am 5'6", but whatever. The "medium" length is much too long. Anyway, I hope they never quit making these pants. I just wish the pockets were bigger. Thats weird.
Love the length... hate the stretch. June 24, 2009 Joanna B. (Boston, MA) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
A very attractive looking jean with a very nice fit... in the dressing room that is. After just a few hours of wearing they were completely stretched out! I've tried shrinking them, but the amount of stretch in the waist especially has rendered them unwearable without a belt. Even then there is so much extra fabric bunching up it is uncomfortable.
What I do like is the length. I'm 5'5" with very long legs. Regular length jeans are often too short and talls are way too long. These are just right.
If you do purchase these, buy 2-3 sizes down (the size runs large anyway) and don't fret if they feel ultra tight. That will soon change! Oh, a number of reveiwers have commented about these not "feeling" like authentic Levis. It's true, these are made of a thin denim. They wear more like slacks.
