I bought these jeans for my husband. The size he normally wears (and all his other jeans are) ended up being way to small. So, I had to return and order a size bigger (in the waist). For a relaxed fit, they are quiet a bit tighter in the waist and crotch than you would think. I would recommend ordering 1 size larger to begin with! Very nice other than that!

These pants are great except for one thing... They are long in the crotch...
What does that mean exactly? It means that if you don't want to wear your pants like Urkel, then your crotch will sag pretty far down... while its not too terrible while standing, it can become bothersome when you sit; "Bothersome How?" you might ask... well, to be blunt... it looks like you are pitching a constant tent while sitting... Now maybe that's a good selling point for some of you guys out there, good pants for first dates perhaps... Just kinda sit back and let her go "Whoa!"... until the pants come off, then it will be "awww :("...
Now you might be thinking "You probably bought the wrong size!", but I assure you! I purchased a size that I can comfortably wear without the need of a belt. (What's the wrong size got to do with it you may ask? Well if you buy a waist too big, when you cinch it up with a belt, you get a bulge of extra fabric somewhere... usually the crotch... Pro-tip guys!)
So overall, good pants... good quality and good fit... except for the crotch...

I was presently surprised to find that these are the exact same 557's I've gotten at local stores for about the same price shipped.
They fit identically and Amazon always has my size - I don't have to go to a bunch stores to find the wash/size/and style I'm looking for - not to mention the choice of 7 washes/colors. I have no reason to go pants shopping ever again.
