 Great Umbrella! Genius carrying case design! Never too big for one person! November 11, 2009

Tom's Wife: I tend to be very particular and am difficult to shop for. My daughter gave me this umbrella as a gift. GREAT umbrella! Also special, I am sure; because she bought it for me. I used it once in awhile, however several months later, I traveled to Europe on business for almost two weeks. This umbrella was a lifesaver! I took it EVERYWHERE. It rained daily. The mesh carrying case has an elastic strap that you can sling over your shoulder like a purse. This allows the umbrella to weightlessly hang in the crevice between your arm and torso. You are totally hands free. The umbrella is tucked in an area where it does not interfere with your movements or even a purse hanging on the same shoulder! It is very light weight while having a large area of coverage at the same time. I had the opportunity and COVERAGE to share the dome with many colleagues, who also remarked on what a great umbrella this was. Most of the time, I didn't even know it was there. No need to cram it in my large purse, which left space for other nescessities. Unfortunately, I recently turned my electric baseboard heater on, not remembering that was where I last laid my 'Special' umbrella. The handle assembly melted :( I am SO happy to have found the same umbrella and will surely purchase AT LEAST one! Thinking about sending my European colleagues a few.....

I looked a long time for the perfect umbrella. I needed one I could keep in the car, so it needed to fold up. I also wanted a large umbrella, as I have a son in a wheelchair and need to be able to give him cover also. This umbrella fills the bill in every way.
The beautiful bright colors are also a plus. I would recommend it to anyone.

I am a big fan of this umbrella. It is compact enough and opens and closes easily. No complaints. The best thing is that it provides great coverage, especially when my husband and I share it. I have not used this one in very windy conditions yet but it seems strong. If you want better coverage, this is the umbrella to buy. And, after all, it is an umbrella. I am sure there will be conditions that no umbrella will stand up to.
I ordered the black, so no color surprises there.

This is the second one of it's kind I've owned. I didn't realize it had a lifetime warentee. My last one broke (a spoke popped out) after several years of use. Instead of returning it for repair I threw it out and bought a new one. It's really big when opened and keeps me nice and dry. The push button open and close feature is great.My only complaint is that you have to do the final handle colapse by hand and it requires a bit of pressure. When getting into the car in a rain storm this is a bit challenging. I still would highly recommend this umbrella.

This is a great umbrella. I like the push button open/close. To be quite truthful, from the description I thought it would close ALL the way at the push of the button. It only folds the umbrella and then you have to push it the rest of the way down, but it still is very convenient when going into your car or a building, not to have to pull it shut. The umbrella folds down and you can get it through the doorway without having to stand in the rain pulling it down. You can push it down the rest of the way when you're out of the rain. It works really slick!
