The Shoe Pouch was designed by Grantwood Technology, LLC to allow runners and walkers to use the Nike+ iPod Sport Kit® or Nike+ SportBand with any type of shoe. When designing the Shoe Pouch, our primary goal was to ensure a snug fit, extensively testing it with reinforced, nylon lace loops, and a Velcro® closure over the insertion slit. These designs maximize the durability of the Shoe Pouch while, most importantly, maintaining the accuracy of the Nike+® system.

Excellent choice for running with Nike Plus without the shoes October 26, 2009

I purchased this product several weeks ago and have been very satisfied with this. The Nike Plus sensor stays securely attached to your shoe and is protected from weather. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to run with the Nike Plus sensor, but without the Nike shoes.

I am unable to run in the original pair of Nike+ shoes I bought for that purpose. I was forced by knee pain to switch over to Brooks and I was worried I wouldn't be able to continue to use my Nike+ iPod kit to keep track of my runs. I bought this pouch, inserted the iPod transmitter, easily strung my laces through the loops, and voila'. I sometimes had problems with the connection between the peanut and my iPod Nano when the unit was in my shoe. I no longer have that problem. I'm not sure if there is a direct correlation, I just know that things now consistently work. The color is fine, goes with my shoes. I don't even notice the pouch is there when I'm running. Great product, worth the price. Thanks!

I found that while using this pouch, the data transmitted to my iPod was very inaccurate. I had Nike Shox with the special little pouch built into the bottom of the shoe for the sensor and while I had the sensor in that pair of shoes, I had no problems with the information getting sent to the iPod. Using the pouch on top of my new non-Nike running shoes resulted in inconsistent and inaccurate data compared to what I got with the sensor in the Nike Shox.

shoe pouch works great.it's the second one i have purchased(for a second pair of shoes)first one is still like new after a year and half of lots of running.Was sent and arrived quicker than i had planned! worth it if you run with nike plus.

Thank God for this little invention! Just bought a pair of Saucony's after wearing Nike+ for years. My Nike+ Ipod still keeps accurate mileage when using the pouch with my Saucony's! I highly recommend it. The color selection is great too!
