These Woodlore shoe trees are great. They are the combination style of shoe tree. Using shoe trees fill out your shoes, and help maintain the shape of the leather. Shoe trees are an important part of maintaining your shoes.
These shoe trees are made of cedar, which are the best kind. Unlike plastic shoe trees or ones made of other materials, cedar helps to absorb odors and moisture, which lengthens the life of your shoe and keeps them smelling nice. Periodically you can sand the shoe trees a bit if necessary to reactivate the cedar scent.
I own this particular shoe tree, and can say that they are of high quality. I own a variety of Woodlore products (i.e. shoe racks, belt hangers, etc.), and like all of their products, you can expect these shoe trees to be of superb craftsmanship and to last a long time.

First shoe tree I've ever owned so I don't know how to compare quality and such, but they absolutely work great. Highly recommend these. I use them on Bostonians to keep the Funk down to minimum. All you can smell is leather, and yes... I've sniffed 'em.. hehe.

These shoe trees are well-constructed and work well. I bought them to keep the shape of my dress shoes when packed in my luggage. For that purpose, they work perfect. The spring mechanism fills the shoe nicely both width and length wise. Occasionally, airport security will raise a brow since they look odd in the x-ray machine but its never a big deal.

Does exactly what it needs to do. Smells nice.
Not as smooth as the ones I got from Nordstroms, but I bet a simple swipe of sand paper would fix that right up. Besides you should do that anyways every once in a while to freshen up the wood smell.
