That pretty much sums up how I feel about this product. The Platinum XL nose hair trimmer simply works and is simple to operate. There are no bells and whistles to get in the way of doing what this very well made product is supposed to do and that is to easily remove unwanted nasal hair. I figured out the best way to use it within a minute of getting it out of the package. I have not pulled any hairs out yet by the roots as I used to with my last battery model.
If you want a nose hair clipper that is built to last forever and backed up by a lifetime warranty and that is made in this country then look no further.

Works great and is a quality product. I got if for my husband and he found it easy to use and liked it. My father in law, who is 74 was not able to use it because he doesn't use his hands that well and couldn't turn it like a person with full use of their hands. So, keep that in mind depending on the user.

Bottom line... stick to electric. This product takes much longer than an electric trimmer. I thought it would be great after reading all the positive reviews, so I bought it. Looks like there's a forum about this product saying that many of these "positive reviews" are not legitimate. After doing a little research online, it sure seems that way. When a reviewer goes on an "opinion" website and reviews one or two items on a particular day and then never reviews anything again... it's kinda fishy. I found several "reviews" like that about this product. Anyway, as it turns out, this trimmer seems to be more of a hassle than anything else. I'll concede that it does seem well built; however, I'm definitely going to buy an electric trimmer.

Just a quick note to report that my husband is very happy with his new nose hair trimmer. His main comment about the Platinum XL trimmer is that this is the first trimmer that he has used that does not yank out his nose hairs and that it is very simple to operate. He also likes the very solid feel and quality.
